I am pleased to inform you that Harris Corporation completed the acquisition of Leitch on October 25 and is beginning to integrate Leitch into its Broadcast Communications Division. This milestone acquisition not only makes our combined companies the world's leading supplier of digital media technologies, but it also provides the expanded scale that will enable us to serve our customers even more effectively in the future.

Our two companies together now offer a broad spectrum of solutions and services to help customers transition to the digital media world. These solutions for Total Content Delivery range from Leitch's digital media and infrastructure products to Harris' transmission, software and networking offerings. Leitch adds over 850 employees with an excellent record of innovation -- plus a customer base of 3,000 television service providers in 100 countries.

Over the last year, Harris has invested over US$800 million to expand and develop our core broadcast offering. As you can see, we are committed to this business, and we are focused on helping our customers and dealers succeed

As one of our dealers, you may have questions about how this acquisition will impact you. We are just starting the integration process and have formed teams of Harris and Leitch employees to address every functional area. While we may not have all of the answers today, we are committed to an aggressive integration schedule. It is our intent to have most of the integration completed within the next 100 days. Please be assured, however, that every part of the integration is being guided by one overarching question: What will make the most sense for our customers? We will keep you informed if there are any changes that impact you. In the interim, please continue to work with us as you have been.
