AST Africa 186 of Africa received dealer award for BEST STUDIO SYSTEMS SUPPORT TO HARRIS for three years in AFRICA region

AST Africa 186 is a new company with a long history of major radio studio projects in South Africa, where they traded as Audio Edge. They have installed 150 of the major radio studios for all the leading broadcasters. They are not only a Dealer for Harris in South Africa, but they also provide technical support to Harris throughout the EMEA region.

Teletran Pty Ltd. of BOTSWANA received the dealer award for the LARGEST STUDIO SALES (FY’04) to Radio Botswana

Teletran is a new Dealer to Harris, but has formed excellent relationships with the main government broadcaster, radio and TV Botswana. The broadcaster recently completed a very impressive new studio facility comprising more than 30 radio studios, and through Teletran Pty Ltd -- we sold the largest Harris studio radio console order in Africa to Radio Botswana in 2004, some 30 high end consoles in one order.

New-Tek is a private consulting firm based in Sophia, Bulgaria and also the Harris BCD dealer. Javor Yanakiev is the Sales Director. He and his father, the managing director of the company, have provided a steady stream of orders for Harris. This culminated last year with New-Tek winning the tender for the first DVB-T system in Bulgaria against difficult competition.

New-Tek supported the installation and commissioning of Harris Atlas and DTV660 transmitters and together with Synchrony provides SFN coverage for the capital Sofia a first for New-Tek and Harris.

Integrated Systems Ltd. of Egypt, has been a Harris dealer for more than 15 years. We honour them for their long service to Harris.They have succeeded in getting Harris into the dominant position on AM Radio with the Government Broadcaster – ETRU, which has included a series of Orders that encompasses 20 AM Radio Stations.

J.F. Mendes Consultadoria is a private consulting firm based in Lisbon, Portugal. Jorge Mendes began his career as a radio technician in the Portuguese Army, and since leaving the military has been involved in many aspects of radio sales and installations.  His foresight and technical expertise led him to become one of the first agents for Intraplex sales in Europe, and thanks to his efforts, Harris Intraplex multiplexers are in use today throughout the entire country of Portugal.

SAV is located in Paris, France. The company has over 50 employees, 22 of them being engineers. They are a well known provider of logo generators for television broadcasters and production companies throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Thanks to SAV, Harris gained share in the corporate and governmental European market.
