Brian Cabeceiras is vice president, strategic marketing and technology, for Harris Broadcast Communications.

In this role, Cabeceiras’ key mandate is to chart a cross-business unit workflow strategy that best leverages Harris Broadcast Communications assets and for developing new markets and product categories. He is also responsible for defining Harris positioning and communicating the company message to the market.

Cabeceiras came to Harris with the October 2005 acquisition of Leitch Technology, where he had served as vice president of sales for the Americas. Previously he worked with SeaChange International where he served as president of the company’s broadcast server division.

Prior to his tenure at SeaChange, Cabeceiras spent seven years with Grass Valley Group/Tektronix and seven years with Sony Broadcast, where he held a number of senior management positions including sales, business development and director of each company’s systems businesses.

Cabeceiras holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University.
