Chief Technologist
Daniel Mance is chief technologist for Harris Broadcast Communications.
In this role, Mance's key mandate is to coordinate the technology direction of Harris Broadcast in conjunction with the strategic marketing and technology team.
Mance came to Harris with the October 2005 acquisition of Leitch Technology, where he had served as chief technology officer. Prior to his appointment to CTO of Leitch, Mance was the founder and chief technology strategist at Inscriber, where he championed the development of software-centric, real-time signal processing for graphics and video. Mance was instrumental in the successful worldwide industry adoption of Inscriber titling and graphics technology within leading desktop video editors.
Mance is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with a bachelor of computer engineering degree.
