Network Management of InfoCaster Player systems
The Network Manager defines what Player(s) the InfoCast or presentation is intended for and when it needs to arrive. The Network Manager then publishes the necessary files to a specified file server location (such as a high bandwidth server) and notifies the specific Player(s) to retrieve modified presentations from the file server.
There are three types of Network Manager software:
InfoCaster Manager Software (up to 150 players)-Used to administer content, permissions and schedules of presentations on multiple, remote InfoCaster Players. Presentations can be transmitted via satellite, standard network or wide area network to many remote sites. InfoCaster Network Manager allows the control of up to 150 InfoCaster Players.
InfoCaster Manager Software (more than 150 players)- same as above with the ability to control more than 150 Players.
InfoCaster Manager Pro (unlimited players)- InfoCaster Network Manager Pro has the added features of mirrored and preferred file servers, InfoCast approval/disapproval and also allows the control of unlimited InfoCaster Players.
