Automate Your Operation
Optional automatic ingest allows you to use Invenio Capture to automate your ingest processes, tailor them to your operations and maximize the value of your media assets. This optional feature enables an entire broadcast enterprise — or a single facility — to automate front-end media ingest and transfer processes. Facilities can eliminate the most manual operations performed during the daily ingest of media, speed up the ingest process, make media available to all workgroups and reduce on-air errors. Key to this workflow is that timing metadata from the catch servers is automatically included in the playout database. The operator only needs to be involved to provide validation of the media and metadata at the end of the process.

In addition, Invenio Capture supports configurable mapping to the automation system database. The system provides the unique ability to group metadata from certain catch servers and combine it with a program template for specific shows. This one-of-a-kind workflow improvement includes the automated mapping of several key metadata fields from the media delivery systems to specific fields in the automation database, such as material ID, title, user data and others.
