Excellence in Image Quality and Display
FusionPro+ multiviewers equip the user with a stylish and dynamic virtual monitor wall that allows for the effective management of the myriad of multiformat sources typical in critical broadcast and professional AV facilities. The system features Harris proprietary processing technology to ensure there are no compromises on picture quality. The result — pristine images, advanced down-scaling, smooth zooming up to full screen, layering and window manipulation. FusionPro+ multiviewers match the native resolution of today’s leading display technologies to drive high-resolution displays up to 1080p.

Control/Ease of Use
The FusionPro+ multiviewer is a fully controllable, reconfigurable, intelligent visual information system. User display configuration is provided via the powerful Z-Configurator layout editing software, making system setup and operation effortless. The creation of layouts is simplified with the option to edit pre-loaded basic templates or use the drag-and-drop functionality to quickly create and save new layout styles. The intuitive GUI allows the operator to easily configure, resize and position any source in the layout (including across two displays when used in the Dual Head (ZdH) display mode), meaning instant reconfigurability is always at the touch of a button.

The FusionPro+ multiviewer features additional options for flexible operator control, including a front-panel LCD menu, on-screen display (OSD), GPI, remote control, over serial and Ethernet interfaces.

Flexibility
Combining any mix of any source format, FusionPro+ multiviewers offer the ultimate in multiviewer flexibility. The FusionPro+ 1RU model accepts four input processing cards for eight scalable windows.

This flexibility extends to the display, where all inputs, including duplicates, are fully scalable and resizable using the dynamic Z-Configurator software. Users can instantly update displays with customized layouts, templates, styles and monitoring options — including the seamless operation of Dual Head (ZdH) display mode.

The Dual Head option is available via software license to change the mode of operation of FusionPro+ multiviewers. In standard mode, FusionPro+ provides a single high-resolution multi-source output up to 1080p and a duplicate to drive a redundant or secondary display. With the Dual Head option, the resolution is reduced to 1360x768. Users have the flexibility to switch to Dual Head mode at any time to drive two displays independently or configured as a single virtual monitoring wall, with spanning capability. With support for an extensive library of display types and any resolution up to 1080p, and full operator control over configurations, FusionPro+ multiviewers add a new dimension to operator flexibility.

Performance
The powerful display processing engine behind FusionPro+ multiviewers results in performance that is second to none. All FusionPro+ multiviewers boast immediate system startup and the lowest minimum frame delays (<1 frame) from source to output, making them a reliable choice in critical production environments.

This functionality is further enhanced with an impressive set of features. The operator has instant visibility of each source — whether video, data or audio level meters. Users can select from a choice of embedded, analog or digital audio module options and audio outputs for content monitoring purposes. Other features include: immediate and visual alert of fault conditions, and
clear display of dynamic UMDs, tally status, clocks and timecode.

Operation
FusionPro+ multiviewers boast a high level of functionality in an exceptionally compact 1RU chassis. The expandable architecture consists of input card sets — a mix of plug-in input processing cards, which are front-loading and hot-swappable to promote efficient upgrades, and simple I/O modules to the rear. Systems can be easily expanded with additional modules, and even upgrading from analog to SDI or HD-SDI becomes effortless, requiring only a change of I/O module. This scalable and space-saving design greatly reduces power consumption, resulting in low long-term operational costs.

Reliability
FusionPro+ models are built upon a robust, non PC-based architecture with modularity to offer greater redundancy. Nothing is left to chance, as 24/7 operation, robustness and serviceability are as important as image resolution and picture quality in critical installations.

These highly reliable 1RU systems boast quick boot-up times to reduce the impact of failures and downtime in the most demanding monitoring environments.

In the event of display failure, the Dual Head (ZdH) feature is a further failsafe, as one command can quickly restore all inputs from the failed display to the active display. A preloaded default recovery configuration is recalled in this eventuality.
