eCDi

The eCDi enhanced transmitter network monitoring and control system is a unique hardware/software package that enables operators of remote transmitters – or multiple stations or transmitters – to monitor, control and measure transmitter performance from a network computer or web-enabled mobile phone. eCDi is also fully compatible with network managers such as Harris CCS Pilot and Navigator.

Housed in an easy-to-install, single-rack-unit assembly, eCDi provides full monitoring and control of all transmitter elements, including power amplifier status, output monitoring, cooling system monitoring and control, control system diagnostics, RF system mode control, and for digital television transmitters, RTAC control and monitoring.

eCDi is versatile. It offers three password-protected access levels to provide the:

• Engineer – full access to all monitoring and control of the transmitter
• Operator – full access to all monitoring, plus access to only routine transmitter control areas
• Monitor – access to monitoring only, with no ability to control any part of the transmitter

And eCDi provides peace of mind. Its advanced diagnostics help identify failures before they occur, and it offers spectral emission plots and notification of FCC mask compliance.
