Configuration Options
Our Products Scale to Meet Your Needs
Harris software is fully scalable to your organization’s size and needs. From the smallest single-station setup to the largest corporation, Harris can configure a solution for you.
Single-Station Configuration
Harris integrates two servers (one database, one terminal) into the existing network infrastructure. End users connect to the application via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). The terminal server accesses the data on the database server. Print jobs are queued through the client’s connection (RDP or ICA).
Multistation (Centralized) Configuration
Harris integrates an array of servers (one database, up to 20 terminal) into the existing network infrastructure. End users connect to the application via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). The terminal server(s) access the data on the database server. Print jobs are queued through the client’s connection (RDP or ICA). Optionally, a disaster recovery server can also be configured.
ASP (Hosted) Configuration
Harris hosts the database in our co-located Data Center. Client connections are made via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). Print jobs are queued through the client''''s connection (RDP or ICA). Disaster recovery plans include real-time backup to a secondary data center and backup RAS accounts. All server maintenance is performed by our team of certified technicians.
